Blogs as learning spaces

I have never liked LMS as a tool for distributing my lectures. They are OK if you need to have an overview of who is your students, who is actively working, and a simple way of reaching them all via message boards, but not necessarily for distributing free and open lecturing resources. Want to make e-learning courses and resources available within an institution? Want to distribute education asynchronously to far flung regions?  Make a blog! And then mix it with Twitter and Wikis.

A quick search on Google Scholar to be used for later references:  index
